There is good news for all the Samsung Galaxy S users that Samsung has confirmed that they will be releasing the Android Gingerbread 2.3 update for Galaxy S handset owners in the middle of this month, so by our rough estimations they may be releasing this by next week of this month.

The rumours aroused from Samsung’s Finnish site that says that the update will be coming to European handsets soon, and the more exciting matter is that UK network Three has also confirmed the update for its SamsungGalaxy S handsets.
